Namaste England is on the floors years after it was initially announced. The Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor starrer is scheduled to release on December 7.
The film is under the same franchise as the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Namastey London. After the 2007 success of Namastey London director Vipul Amrutlal Shah had already planned to make another film in the same franchise. There were a few reports during 2011 that Akshay Kumar would be playing the lead but the film never took off then.
Details about the movie plot have not been revealed as yet but reportedly this will be a standalone film and will not have a lot of connection to Namastey London.
Namaste England also marks Arjun and Parineeti’s third film together after Ishaqzaade and the yet to be released Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
