USA Beats China to Lead on Top. India in 63rd Position

Paris: As the competition entered Day 12 with 24 gold, 31 silver, and numerous bronze medals for a total of 86 medals, the USA maintained its lead over China to remain in the topmost position in the medal standings in the Paris Olympics.

Conversely, Australia came in third place with 35 medals total—12 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze—while China remained in second place with 22 gold, 21 silver, and 16 bronze medals.

Take France as your host. With 48 medals, including 13 gold, 16 silver, and 19 bronze, it fell to fourth place.

Britain is ranked fifth, having won 46 medals in total—12 gold, 15 silver, and 19 bronze.

With three bronze medals, India dropped to 63rd place.
