Shardiya Navratri has started. On the first day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gorakshpeeth, Guru Gorakhnath’s penance place. 

According to the tradition of the Peeth, a special ritual of worship of Mother Adishakti started here in the presence of Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath. Earlier in the evening, Yogi Adityanath installed the Kalash with Vedic chanting in the Shaktipeeth located on the monastery’s first floor.
