Kolkata: Durga Puja begins on Tuesday in West Bengal. The city of Kolkata is preparing for the four days of Puja. Pooja Committee member Moushumi Chatterjee in the Salt Lake area said, “It is our A.K. Block Association, Durga Puja Committee, Salt Lake, in its 37th year. This year, our theme is ‘Bari Bindu’, in which ‘Bari’ means water and ‘Bindu’ means drop’.
Our Pandal is divided into three sections. The first section depicts the Salt Lake area and its water requirements. In the second section, there is the joy of water and the musical compositions associated with it. In the final section, Goddess Durga is depicted in the image of a school-going girl.
