Advani's wife hospitalised

Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani's wife Kamla Advani was on Tuesday admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here following fever and urinary tract infection, hospital authorities said.

 
"Kamla Advani was admitted at AIIMS today at 6 a.m. with fever and urinary tract infection. A team of super specialists comprising urologists, geriatric medicine and intensive care specialists are closely monitoring her," said Neerja Batla, chief spokesperson of AIIMS.
 
Batla added that Kamla's condition is presently stable.
 
A senior doctor confirmed to IANS that she was in the ICU.
