Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Govardhan Dangi threatened to burn "alive" BJP MP Pragya Thakur for calling the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, Nathuram Godse, a parliamentary patriot. Dangi said, "if Thakur comes to my place, I not going to burn her statue, but burn her alive." When contacted Dangi, he said the Thursday's statement was an error in 'emotional' state."We were staging protest against Thakur for calling the father of the nation's killer, patriot. I used the wrong words, verbally. But that doesn't mean we're not going to continue our protest against her. He has not publicly withdrawn his comments or apologized.
