Famous  Marathi actor and Shiv Sena leader Dr Amol Kolhe joins Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). His decision to quit Shiv Sena comes a few days after he met NCP chief Sharad Pawar.

He said he wanted to "strengthen the hands of Sharad Pawar".

Kolhe is currently playing the  role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji's son in a very popular TV serial.

Amol Kolhe is likely to contest the Parliament Election from NCP, but yet to fix the constituency.
