MUMBAI: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut is scheduled to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at 5 p.m. today with other senior party leaders. Raut has also confirmed that he will meet the Governor and request him to invite the single largest party to form the government in Maharashtra. The move comes at a time when both the BJP and the Shiv Sena are engaged in a bitter tug-of-war over the equal distribution of Cabinet portfolios and the 2.5-year tenure of the post of chief minister. While the BJP stands firm that Devendra Fadnavis is going to become Maharashtra's next chief minister, Shiv Sena is looking for an equal term for the post of chief minister.
