NEW DELHI: The voting for the first phase of General Elections-2019 to elect people’s representatives for the 17^thLok Sabha gets underway in the country. 91 Lok Sabha seats are in the fray, spread over 20 states and UTs.

Elections will be held in the 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh and 17 seats in Telangana and 8 seats out of the total 80 in Uttar Pradesh. Seven seats in Maharashtra also goes to the polling booths in the first phase today, including Nagpur, the constituency of union minister and senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.
