The Governor of Maharashtra K. Sankaranarayanan hosted the traditional Republic Day reception (referred to as ‘At Home’ reception) on the occasion of the  4th anniversary of Indian Republic at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on the evening ofSunday (26th Jan). 

 

Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, Guardian Minister of Mumbai Jayant Patil, Minister of Protocol Suresh Shetty, Members of State Legislature Diwakar Raote and Jagannath Hegde, captains of industry and eminent people from various walks

Earlier in the day, the Governor unfurled the National Flag and took salute from a ceremonial parade at Marine Drive in Mumbai.
