Argentina has canceled their warm up football match against Israel prior to the FIFA World Cup 2018 after the South American nation received unhappiness from many pro-Palestine organisations. The match was scheduled on Saturday at the  Teddi Kollek stadium in Jerusalem.

The Palestine Football Association had came out in publicly against Argentina's move to play against Israel. Football Association President Gibril Rajoub appealed to Argentina to cancel the football match and went to the next level that they will burn the posters of Lionel Messi if he decided to be a part of the game.
