Christiano Ronaldo became the first European footballer to score 100 international goals for his country. He joins Ali Daei who scored 109 for Iran. Ronaldo who last scored for Portugal, last year in November 2019, ended the long wait with a free kick from outside the box.

Out of Ronaldo’s 100 goals, only 17 have come in international friendlies. Playing for Portugal he has scored seven goals versus Lithuania, six against Sweden, five against Andorra, Armenia, Latvia and Luxembourg.

Ronaldo has six international hattricks and has scored seven goals in FIFA World Cup stage and another nine at UEFA Euros in his career. Ronaldo scored the first goal for his country way back at UEFA Euro 200.
