World No.1 Novak Djokovic of Serbia booked a berth in the final of the US Open, edging out Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland in a marathon five-setter of the men’s singles semi-finals here Saturday.

 

 Djokovic lost the first set and had to graft hard for the victory against the ninth seed, winning 2-6,7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in four hours and eight minutes
