"Brother, it's time again…that's how beautiful life is! Can't wait…love u bro," tweets Ghana’s Kevin-Prince Boateng after knowing that Germany had drawn Ghana in the FIFA World Cup. Kevin’s brother Jerome Boateng plays for Germany.
This will not be the first time we see the brothers playing against each other in a World Cup tournament. The last time they had met in South Africa when Germany beat Ghana 1-0 in the group stages.
After encountering a 1-2 loss against United States, Ghana might storm out of the competition as they battle against three-time champions Germany. “It will be a tough match because Germany is the top candidate for Group G and they will play with great confidence after winning 4-0 against a team like Portugal. We will be affected psychologically but we will face them with determination,” Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan said.
