It has been a great journey, couldn't have asked for more: Rohit

After winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 crown, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper heaped praise on team saying that it was a great journey so far in the season adding he couldn't have asked for anything more from his victorious team.
Mumbai defeated Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final at the Eden Gardens here on Sunday to be crowned as Champions.
Chasing a monumental 202/5, the Super Kings could only manage 161/8 from 20 overs.
For Mumbai, it was Rohit Sharma (50) and Lendl Simmons (68) who helped them post such a formidable total, while for Chennai the only notable contribution came from the bat of Dwayne Smith (57).
"It has been a great journey. I couldn't have asked for more. It was important to show character. We knew we had guys who could do that. This is a sweet victory because we came from nowhere, with people writing us off," Rohit said at the post match presentation ceremony.
The skipper who was also awarded the man-of-the-match for hi 26-ball 50 said, "It's always been good here. Whenever I have come here, I have taken happy memories back. It has been a very good journey. To bounce back from that situation we found ourselves in the first half is very rare."
