New Zealand made 329 for four in the first innings against India at stumps on the first day of the first cricket Test at the Eden Park here Thursday.
 
 Skipper Brendan McCullum was batting on 143 and Corey Anderson 42 at the close of play. Kane Williamson also made a fine 113.
 
 Indian pacers Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma picked up two wickets each.
