Cricket administrator Dinanath Ramnarine’s bid to become the next president of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) has received a timely boost.
Ramnarine, a former president of the West Indies Players Association (WIPA), was elected as a club representative after the National League of the TTCB held their election.
Ramnarine along with Daren Ganga, both former West Indies cricketers, were among six people voted in as club representatives.
He is throwing his hat into the ring to become the next president of the TTCB at the annual general elections Oct 29.
Ganga, his running mate, was also selected along with former national cricketer Andre Lawrence and Giles Antoine, Clint Pamphile and Anil Kamal.
