Rohit's 150 propels India to 364/5 against Afghanistan

Rohit Sharma smashed 150 off 122 balls to help India score 364 for five against Afghanistan in an ICC World Cup warm-up game at the Adelaide Oval here Tuesday.
Half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane (88 not out off 61 balls) and Suresh Raina (75) also were crucial to India's cause as the defending champions scored 95 runs off the final 10 overs to set Afghanistan a daunting target.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, India were in deep trouble after being reduced to 16 for two in the fourth over with Shikhar Dhawan (4) and Virat Kohli (5) both back in the hut.

After Raina's dismissal, Rohit carried on the good work with Ajinkya Rahane as the two added another 95 runs for the fourth wicket.
In his zeal to hit another six Rohit was dismissed in the 40th over with India 269 for four.
Rahane took up the mantle of the aggressor and tore into the opposition bowling.
Meanwhile, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (10) tried to make an instant impact but only managed to sky a simple catch to the long-on fielder.
Rahane continued with his merry making, peppering the boundaries regualrly to end unbeaten on 88 off just 61 balls, including 12 fours and two sixes.
Brief Scores: India 364 for five in 50 overs (Rohit Sharma 150, Ajinkya Rahane 88 not out; Hamid Hassan 1-49, Mohammad Nabi 1-62) vs Afghanistan.
