Samsung launches Galaxy S5 Mini for Rs.26,499

South Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics Tuesday launched its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, priced at Rs.26,499, a company statement said here.
The phone will be exclusively available on e-commerce portal Flipkart from Sep 10.
"The Galaxy S5 Mini is yet another manifestation of the philosophy of people inspired innovation that drives Samsung products. This stylish smartphone is the perfect combination of performance and power in a conveniently compact design," said Asim Warsi, vice president, marketing, mobile & IT at Samsung India.
The mobile phone has 11.3 cm (4.5) HD Super AMOLED screen. It has a Quad Core 1.4GHz processor along with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It is equipped with Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS and Samsung's TouchWiz UX.
The company on July 18 launched 4G compatible Galaxy S5 smartphones in India priced at Rs.53,500, but now available at Rs.43,250.
