Sensex sheds 30 points in early trade

Mumbai, Dec 11: A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 30.12 points, or 0.12 percent down during the morning session on Friday.

 
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 12.80 points, or 0.17 percent down at 7,670.50 points.
 
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 25,281.77 points, was trading at 25,222.20 points (at 9.23 a.m.) in the early session, down 30.12 points, or 0.12 percent from the previous day's close at 25,252.32 points.
 
The Sensex touched a high of 25,316.14 points and a low of 25,220.25 points in the trade so far.
