Sri Lanka's stand-in captain Lasith Malinga won the toss and elected to field against India in the final of the World Twenty20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here Sunday.

 

 Earlier, light showers delayed the start of the proceedings by almost 40 minutes. The toss took place after the rain stopped.
