Maharashtra Governor Presides over the Convocation of Jain Vishwa Bharti

On Monday, 19 February, Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the 14th Annual Convocation of the Jain Vishwa Bharti Deemed University at CIDCO Convention Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

On the occasion, the Governor awarded Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) to well-known banker and CEO of Jio Financial Centre K. V. Kamath, former CEO of ICICI Bank, and renowned Sanskrit and Jain scholar Prof. Dayanand Bhargava. Candidates who earned a Ph.D. were honoured with gold medals.

Acharya Mahashraman, Chancellor of Jain Vishwa Bharti University and Union Minister of State (I/C) for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Bachchharaj Dugad, and Amarchand Lunkad, President of Jain Vishwa Bharti, were among those in attendance.
