If New Delhi boasts of spacious malls around Saket, and Gurgaon, then can Mumbai be far behind? The city of dreams which had malls restricted only to South Mumbai, today has more malls in Mumbai’s western and central suburbs. Malls serve as a one point destination for all needs.

From vegetables, groceries, home furnishing, clothes, a mall gives enough variety to the customer, which not only minimizes the search, but also provides a variety of discount schemes to make the trip worthwhile financially. Moreover, malls are not only for shopping, but also a place to hang out for entertainment and sports. For food lovers also the malls serves as a one point destination as all the malls have food courts which serve wide variety of food.

Ghatkopar and Mulund, located in North Mumbai, have not less than 3 to 4 malls; where as Malad located in western Mumbai has more than 2 malls. According to reports there are more malls in the pipeline as far as suburban Mumbai is concerned.
