Guruvayur/Kerala: As an expression of selfless devotion to Lord Krishna, Mr Sunder Iyer, a devotee from Mumbai, will construct the international level comfort station that is going to come up in the Guruvayur Temple's South Nada, near to Devaswom hospital, in Kerala.

The new comfort station will cater to the needs of thousands of worshippers coming to the Temple as the building consists of a toilet complex, cloakroom, AC dormitory and a water tank. The complex will meet the international standards once it functions in full fledge.

The responsibility of Constructing comfort station has been taken by Sunder Iyer and dedicated to devotees of Lord Guruvayoorappan.  He will bear the entire expense which costs about four crore rupees.

Mr Iyer is a very well known Stockbroker/investor from Mumbai. He is the owner of SI Investments And Broking Private Ltd and has 35 years of experience in capital market operations.

"I have been a staunch devotee of Lord Krishna. Whatever I have today is because of the blessings of Lord Guruvayoorappan. My ambition is to make one of the best toilets. I feel happy and satisfied", said Sunder Iyer.

160 people can at a time use toilet and bathrooms in the first and second floors of the complex, which builds in 8500 sq. Ft. On the third floor, there is an air-conditioned dormitory that can accommodate 56 people. Clock room will be on the ground floor, having the capacity to carry 1200 bags and other items and a tank that can store 1.5 lakh litre water will come up in the top floor as well.

Guruvayur Devaswom Board Chairman K.B Mohandas has laid the foundation stone of the complex and construction will be completed in six months.
