Ranchi: On Thursday, police arrested 12 people allegedly involved in the gang rape of a 25-year-old law student. She was abducted from Ring road in Ranchi at gunpoint and raped two days ago nearby brick kiln. This Incident happened in the evening on November 26 when she was with her male friend. The complainant reported to the police station in Kanke on Wednesday. FIR registered under Sections 376 D (gang rape), 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 3(2)(Va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act. Police said "we arrested 12 men, all from Sangrampur village, and confiscated a car, a bike, pistols, two cartridges, eight mobile phones and the victim’s cell phone from their possessions,” .
