Governor Presides Over the 40th Convocation of the University in Amravati

Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities Ramesh Bais presided over the 40th Annual Convocation ceremony of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati (SGBAU), held online.

Degrees were awarded to 41,113 graduating students at the Convocation Ceremony. In addition, 215 candidates were awarded PhDs, while medals and cash prizes were given to 164 graduating students.

Deepak Kumar Shrivastava, vice chairman of the University Grants Commission, vice chancellor Dr Milind Barhate, Pro vice-chancellor Dr Prasad Wadegaonkar, registrar Dr Tushar Deshmukh, members of various boards of authority, Deans, faculty and staff were all in attendance.
