Maha Gov with NDA Cadets

The Governor of Maharashtra K. Sankaranarayanan today urged the graduating cadets of the National Defence Academy to contribute to the task of nation building and make a difference to our country. Cautioning them of the challenge of ‘moral and ethical decay’ faced by the world, he asked the Cadets to set highest standards of integrity and conduct.
 
The Governor was addressing the Graduating Cadets of the 124th Course of the National Defence Academy at a Convocation Ceremony at Khadakwasla in Pune on Thursday (30 May).
 
Air Marshal K. S. Gill, Commandant of National Defence Academy, Rear Admiral Anand Iyer, Deputy Commandant, Prof O. P. Shukla, Principal, Academic officers, members of the Academic Committee, parents of Graduating Cadets and Cadets were present on the occasion.
 
Three hundred fifty Cadets of the 124th Course were conferred with the Graduate Degrees in B.A., B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Computer Science) streams after successful completion of three years of Academic Training. Cadets scoring maximum Grade Points in their respective streams and one cadet with the highest Grade Point amongst all the three streams were awarded the Commandant’s Silver Medal and Trophies during the ceremony.
