Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: A massive crowd of devotees gathered at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on the auspicious occasions of Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti. On this special day, taking a holy dip and offering charity at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati is considered highly sacred. From the early hours of Brahma Muhurta, devotees began arriving to take the ritual bath.
It is believed that any act of bathing, charity, or पूजा performed on this day yields eternal rewards and never diminishes. With this faith, devotees assembled at the Sangam, praying for the well-being and prosperity of their families, as well as for the progress and welfare of the nation.
According to temple priests, the festival is being observed over two days, during which the entire Sangam area has transformed into a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
