Jhargram (West Bengal): Prime Minister Narendra Modi displayed a unique style during the West Bengal Assembly elections on Sunday. He enjoyed jhalmuri in Jhargram, where he stopped at a local shop and called out, “Brother, serve me some good jhalmuri.”
After having the snack, PM Modi offered Rs 10 to the shopkeeper. When the shopkeeper refused to accept the money, Modi insisted, saying, “No, that’s not right.”
Shopkeeper Vikram Shaw said he was left stunned after Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise visit and enjoyed jhalmuri from his stall, calling the moment a “huge thing” and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Prime Minister was seen interacting with residents, sharing smiles, and even sharing jhalmuri with children and women present at the shop during his visit.
Taking a break amid his Assembly election rallies in West Bengal, PM Modi made an unexpected stop in Jhargram for a quick bite of the popular roadside savoury snack, jhalmuri.
