Olivia Colman won Best Actress for her amazing performance in the Hollywood Film, “The Favourite”. She was praised for her role as Queen Anne. The film also bagged the Bafta and a Golden Globe. Surprisingly, we have learnt that Olivia has a strong Indian connection.
According to a British documentary show “Who Do You Think You Are?” Season 15, Olivia’s great great great grandmother was born in Kishanganj, Bihar.
Can be assumed like her great great great grandmother must have been among the English men and women who had come to India during the Rule of British Empire. She revealed during the show that her great great great grandmother named Harriot was born in Kishanganj, Bihar in 1807, and she always felt that her family has never moved out of their house in Norfolk, England.
In the documentary dated September 2018, Olivia says, “It’s very mystery at the moment. The thought my family has lived here is amazing.”
