Mumbai: A 37-year-old Ghatkopar man suffering from a chronic disease strangled his two boys, aged 11 and 7, in a shocking incident on Wednesday. The man was named as an app-based cab driver, Chandrakant Mohite. For the past two years, Mohite had been sick. Mohite called his younger brother on Tuesday night, who lives with him, saying he was sick of his illness and wanted to end the pain. Later, Mohite left his home in his car when his brother alerted the police after Mohite stopped responding to calls. Mohite had a fight over his chronic illness with his wife Kavita before he left home. Through the GPS, they tracked his car and found it travelling to Pune. Police were alerted in Pune and they started tracking his movements as well. At 3.15 am, Mohite was stopped at toll plaza and cops apprehended him and he admitted that his kids are inside the dicky.
