The Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) for the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) includes a recommendation that vehicles older than 15, petrol and diesel, should be banned. PMRDA submitted the CMP to the Pune Urban Mobility Transport Authority (Pumta) today. Pumta is led by the division commissioner Deepak Mhaisekar. A list of CMP also suggest "Banning petrol and diesel vehicles over the age of 15, metering-distance-based collection of fares, limiting car sharing on public transport routes, and no car rickshaw is near intersections."
