Mumbai: Shiv Sena Corporator Kishori Pednekar was formally elected Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Brihanmumbai (BMC) on Friday. As BJP, Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) did not nominate their candidates for the posts, both were elected unopposed. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the campaign for cleanliness. We should also be part of it. We should also clean up Mumbai with everyone's involvement," Ms Pednekar told reporters after being elected here.
