Three more people have been confirmed to have lost their lives after a Delhi police constable was killed as protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in North-East Delhi. All three died from shooting, reported the Office of the Chief Minister (CMO). According to reports, ten policemen have been seriously injured. One DCP was also injured in the stone-pelting and admitted to Max Hospital in Patparganj. Violence and arson incidents have been recorded in the North-East district areas, especially in the Maujpur, Kardam Puri, Chand Bagh, Gokulpuri, and Dayalpur regions. The tyre market at Kapur Petrol Pump in Gokulpuri was set on fire at around 9 pm. The rioters also set fire to a petrol pump in the Bhajan Pura area. Delhi Police warned it would take strict action against miscreants and anti-social elements.
