Governor Honours Prominent ENT Surgeon at the 23rd Convocation of MUHS

At the 23rd Convocation of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Ramesh Bais, awarded D Litt to renowned ENT surgeon Dr Christopher D’Souza for his outstanding contribution to the healthcare field.

Furthermore, at the event, he launched ‘E- Prabodhini: Learning Management System’ online.

Degrees were also awarded to 10302 graduates during the convocation ceremony. A total of 26 candidates were awarded PhDs, while 111 meritorious graduates were awarded gold medals and certificates.

The Governor released the textbook ‘Blueprint of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)’ on this occasion. Pro-Chancellor of MUHS and Minister of Medical Education Hasan Mushrif, principal secretary of Medical Education Dinesh Waghmare, vice chancellor of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research Belgaum Dr Nitin Gangane, vice chancellor of MUHS Lt. Gen. (Rtd.) Dr Madhuri Kanitkar and pro vice-chancellor Dr Milind Nikumb were at the Convocation Ceremony held on the University premises at Nashik.
