India ITME Society Unveils a Center in Mumbai to Promote Multiculturalism

Representing a significant milestone in its commitment to creating inclusive spaces, India International Machinery Exhibitions (ITME) Society, a non-profit organisation, announced the launch of its multicultural facility center. The center will host cultural programmes and corporate functions

The multicultural facility is where people from all backgrounds can share their traditions, stories and experiences. As a cultural appreciation and understanding hub, the centre will serve as a vibrant venue for various activities and initiatives to promote multiculturalism.

The ITME premises, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and customisable layouts, offer a seamless experience for event organisers and attendees.

Veteran Bollywood actress Smita Jayakar, Mr India International 2017 Darasing Khurana, and stand-up comedian Rohan Gujral graced the event.

Seema Srivastava, executive director of ITME, said, “We are thrilled to open our doors to the community and welcome individuals and organisations to use our premises for their cultural and professional endeavours. By providing a dynamic space for cultural and professional gatherings, we can contribute to the enrichment of our local community and foster meaningful connections among diverse groups of people.”

Ms Srivastava added that organisers could leverage ITME’s resources to bring their vision to life, whether hosting an intimate gathering or a large-scale event.

Next, Smita Jayakar stated, “The ITME centre will bring an extra sparkle to South Mumbai. It will create a more supportive ambience for art, culture, theatrical showcases, workshops, book launches, and many other cultural events in this dynamic part of Mumbai”.

During the event, Gopinath Chandra Das, author of ‘The Power of Karma Yoga’, Dr. Shefali Batra, author of ‘Why Do I Feel So Sad?’, and Mukta Wankhede, author of ‘It’s Going to Be Okay,’ showcased their books.
