Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President M Karunanidhi passed away at 94 on Tuesday. Due to dip in his blood pressure Karunanidhi was shifted from his Gopalapuram residence to Kauvery Hospital.
The Tamil Nadu government rejected proposal to bury Karunanidhi at Marina Beach citing legal issues. DMK moved to Madras High Court over Karunanidhi's memorial at Marina Beach. The Madras High Court acting Chief Justice Huluvadi G. Ramesh reportedly agreed to hear case at 10:30pm.
