On Wednesday, the Chief General of the Indian Army, MM Naravane, welcomed the decision of the Center to abrogate Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and called it a ' historic move ' that disrupted the ' western neighbor ' proxy war. Without mentioning Pakistan especially, Gen Narvane said, "we have plenty of options for combating those who support terrorism and we will not hesitate to use them." The Army chief also issued a stern warning to Pakistan during his speech on the 72nd Army Day, saying the armed forces are ready for any future war.
