On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his first rally for the Delhi Legislative Assembly Election 2020 held in Karkardooma, the national capital. The rally started on this day at around 2 PM and is being held at Delhi's CBD ground. In the midst of recent controversies over protests in the national capital against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizens ' Register (NRC), on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that behind these protests is a political conspiracy and linked them to a ' political design ' to ' divide India ' and ' ruin the nation's harmony. '  However, with these demonstrations, he lambasted the opposition political parties to divide the country. Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, PM Modi said, "But AAP and Congress are threatening voters. Constitution and tricolor are being kept up front and focus is being diverted from actual conspiracy."
