Mumbai: The Shiv Sena is going to oppose the Rajya Sabha Citizenship (Amendment) Act, sources said on Wednesday, two days after the party voted in support of the Lok Sabha act. Members of the Sena have "informally communicated" orders to reject the Rajya Sabha bill, suggesting that the party caved under pressure from its new ally Congress of Maharashtra. Behind the U-turn from one house to the other is the Congress, which has shown its disappointment with Sena's support for the Lok Sabha bill.
