The 2nd edition is scheduled for 7th March 2024 at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Delhi. The Festival of Manufacturing FOM will celebrate 10 years of Make In India initiative.

The Festival of Manufacturing (FOM) Roadshow made a significant impact at the ET Global Conference of Plastics in Automotive summit in Pune.

Led by Rishi Sutrave, Business Head, B2B Division, and Rahul Kamat, Editor, B2B Division, Worldwide Media, the segment began as Mr. Kamat posed a question to the audience of 250: “What does the phrase ‘Festival of Manufacturing’ mean to you?” As the microphone passed from person to person, a consensus emerged from the audience, defining FOM as an occasion that celebrates the often-overlooked Indian manufacturing industry.

The two speakers provided a glimpse into the inaugural edition of FOM. Presented by ExxonMobil and Co-Powered by Ace Micromatic Group, noteworthy highlights included Mr Narayan Rane, Union Minister of MSME, Government of India, as the Chief Guest, Mr Bhagwat Karad, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Finance, an impressive line-up of brand ambassadors, 1,000+ delegates, 40+ speakers, and 500+ plant celebrations, where the festival encouraged companies to mark the joy of manufacturing within their own plants in their own unique ways.

Concluding the presentation, Sutrave and Kamat hinted at the upcoming second edition of the Festival of Manufacturing. Revolving around the theme of ‘Celebrating 10 Years of Make in India’ it is scheduled to take place at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi on March 7, 2024.
