When it comes to aliens, humans have a lot of questions and are very curious to discover about extra-terrestrial life, alien encounters, and UFO sightings. If UFOs were visiting our world, then where were these extra-terrestrials? Could they be hidden among us?
Scientists and astronomers express varying degrees of enthusiasm for the possibility of intelligent life in the universe. Scientists have developed very real ways to search for extra-terrestrials, just perhaps not the kind of aliens one would normally expect.
Astronomers and scientists were observing a pulsar star located some 2,300 light-years away when they noticed two planets orbiting around the said star. By 1995, researchers confirmed a planet around a Sun-like star. Since then, the hunt for alien worlds that orbit around stars other than our own Sun was officially on. The number of exoplanets scientists know of subsequently has gone from a small number to more than 4,000 now.
While exploring the outer planets of the Solar System, scientists were captivated by their moons instead. Saturn’s moons Titan and Enceladus and Jupiter’s moon Europa have all shown signs of possible habitability buried beneath their icy surfaces. Scientists are placing their safe bets on Mars possibly hosting some form of life billions of years ago when the planet may have been habitable.
SETI (Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence) is a series of interrelated programs that scour the universe for intelligent life mostly by trying to listen in on their radio signals. It searches for narrow-band radio transmissions from another planet or from an alien civilization.
Once, a former Israeli space security chief has claimed that his country and the United States have been dealing with them for years. He said that the extra-terrestrial beings had asked them not to reveal that they were here because it would lead to public hysteria. They felt humanity needed to “evolve and reach a stage where we will understand what space and spaceships are.
If scientist succeeds to find answers of the life on another planet, then we can have clarity on many other existential questions on aliens.
