The world test championship is a test cricket competition run by the Indian Cricket Council (ICC). It is intended to be the premier championship for Test Cricket. This test match goes on for five days where the batting team tries to gain as many runs as possible without getting runout or by declaring a high target to chase. On the other hand, the bowling team aims to get the batting team all out.

Currently World Test Championship Finals are going on between India and New Zealand. So, it was declared that the teams who would go in the finals for the championship would be selected based on which team played and won the maximum times in a whole year and now the finals are currently going on between these two teams. The test match will go on for 6 days and not 5 days. An additional day has been added called the reserve day so that if the match is postponed due to rain or badlight, the players still have time to play the match.

The final match was on 18th June 2021 and was being played at Ageas Bowl, England. The opening day and the fourth day of the World Test Championship were suspended due to the rains. Looking at the current scenario, as there has been lots of rainfall and the match being delayed, the ICC has declared that India and New Zealand would be declared as joint winners if the match ends up in a draw or a tie.

The fans have been excited about this series ever since it was announced, but the climatic conditions have disappointed their expectations. Upon hearing the BCC decision, the fans had a mixed reaction as they are happy that their favorite team is winning, but they are also upset as they have to share their victory with the other team. Now everything thing will depend upon whether or not the match will be played or not.
