Sharad Pawar, chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), said Friday that the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress coalition government will last the full five-year term if it comes to power in Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar told reporters in Nagpur, "The process of forming the government has begun. The coalition government will last five years and there is no possibility of a mid-term poll being held in Maharashtra." The NCP leader also said that Shiv Sena's request for the post of chief minister would "talk about" his faction. Since his party colleague Nawab Malik said the alliance will be led by the Shiv Sena, Pawar's comments come immediately.
