On Monday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reiterated his position that the National Register of Citizens (NRC) is unnecessary and will not be implemented in his State. He made the state assembly remarks, while thanking the House members for approving unanimously a constitutional amendment to extend quotas to SCs and STs by another 10 years.
