As uncertainty looms over India-Pakistan clash in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, under the circumstances of the deadliest suicide attack that killed 40 CRPF soldiers in Jammu & Kashmir's Pulwama district last week, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will discuss the issue on the sidelines of their quarterly meeting in Dubai.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will host their quarterly meeting in Dubai from February 27 to March 2.

“There are chances that the India-Pakistan World Cup clash will be discussed on the sidelines of the ICC meeting to be held in Dubai from February 27,” ICC sources told ANI.

As the nation weeps and mourns over the deadliest attack in Jammu & Kashmir's Pulwama district where more than 40 CRPF men killed on Thursday, the Cricket fraternity of the country also joined hands to condemn the attack. Jaish-E-Mohammed, a Pakistan based terror outfit had carried out a terror attack where they used a youth to drive a car carrying 350 kg of explosive materials and ram into the bus carrying CRPF men.

The Cricket Club of India (CCI) in strongly condemned the attack and urged the Indian Cricket Board to boycott the ICC World Cup 2019 clash against Pakistan. They came out a stern statement as a result of the continuous silence from the Pakistan President and former World Cup-winning captain Imran Khan.

"He (Imran Khan) should respond. He is the Prime Minister and if he believes that Pakistan has no role to play in the attack, then why is he doesn't come out openly. He should come out openly. People should know the truth. He is not coming out openly which means that there are Stains in their folds," CCI Secretary Suresh Bafna told ANI.

Meanwhile, the CCI had covered the portrait of Imran at their headquarters in the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

"We called a meeting on the very next day of the attack and to condemn the attack, and we decided to cover the photo. We'll be deciding soon how to remove the photo," he told ANI.
