Singer Steve Garrigan of Kodaline has teased a collab with Ed Sheeran and stated that could feature on their forthcoming album after they teamed up with his producer Steve Mac.

He asserted, “The new album that’s coming out in the summer is different, we said we didn’t want to do something we’ve done before, we wanted to go into a new world. We worked with Steve Mac who done Ed’s Shape Of You and Pink’s What About Us. We wanted to deliberately change our sound, challenge ourselves. There has been talk of an Ed song for quite a while now, we’ll never say never as we have met Ed a few times, our bass player proposed on stage at his show. We’re now open to the idea of working with other people and he is an amazing guy, he’s so prolific. There has been talk of an Ed song for quite a while”

Talking about his album Garrigan said, “I think the song quality is stronger, we’ve learnt a lot and been working with other people. In my eyes it will be our strongest album.”
