Mel B from the Spice Girls has reportedly hinted that the band is set to reunite for the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She confirmed that they are to attend the wedding.
The singer asserted that she had received a ‘proper’ invitation. The Spice Girls have previously hinted that they are reforming in some form in a statement, “The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together.”
On an American television chat show The Real, Mel B was asked about the wedding to which she quipped, “Yeah, I’m going. I don't know if I should've said that!” and continued, “Well us five Spice Girls. Why am I so honest?”
When asked whether they would be performing, she looked down with a smile and shook her head in mock frustration which prompted her co-hosts to exclaim, “Yes they are performing! Yes!”
To which Mel B then said, “I need to go, I'm going to be fired.”
Other artists who are reportedly possibly going to perform at the wedding include Sir Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
