Home schooling-The latest educational trend

An upcoming population of younger Indian generation are reluctant to send their children to school, a latest trend catching up in cities like Hyderabad recently. Parents are ready to act as teachers and houses have been converted into learning centres, as this home schooling idea is growing up fast in urban areas of India.

The original concept got formulated in USA, with the number of children taking schooling from home increased by around 75% within last 15 years as per a survey conducted by Education Research Institute. Parents are dedicated and confident that this decision will work out in a positive direction.

If we send our child to a classroom of 60 students managed by a single teacher, they will not get any individual attention which they need essentially during crucial school years as every child is unique in their own way.

Home based education has many advantages over regular schooling like videos, games and music, flexible study hours and homework free curriculum. Swimming against a conventional teaching method is risky for many parents and the choice is rebellion in nature as far as the future of child is concerned.

Most parents adopt Waldorf or Cambridge teaching methods at home, which has a syllabus based on application related method largely than regular memorization matter.
