Given the current situation, all we can think about how the glass is half empty – negativity everywhere. Open any news application or switch on the television, all we see and read about is Corona.
What we fail to understand is, along with other facilities, the situation primarily demands a positive mindset and attitude. For a person who is covid positive, the first thing the doctor will suggest is to have a positive environment around. Along with medicines, one needs to stay in an environment that is far from all the negativity. Being in isolation, away from all humans, is very difficult. We crave the physical company of family and friends. In the situation this isn’t possible, we are connected through video calls, talking about good things, and hearing affirmative words while hanging up will truly do wonders.
For people who didn’t test positive but were positive at this time is important. However, looking at the positive side, we get to spend quality with our families. Yes, one would say that could be done on a vacation or a mini getaway too. But would one be cooking new dishes in the kitchen or trying your hands on that skill you thought you were not exactly good at on a vacation? No, right?
Tough times call for us to be together, staying positive, and facing the situation bravely and not sulk about it, making it more difficult. Try that new hobby you saw on the internet and intrigued you, watch that show with the family that you couldn’t earlier due to different schedules of the members, embrace this home time and my time. Find those little ways to be happy with your family. Stay safe.
